LaBaron Hartfield has 20 years of IT consulting and project management experience collaborating with organizations to realize business objectives across Sales, Marketing and Service initiatives. His clients have been in the medical, pharmaceutical, financial, high-tech, manufacturing and consumer package goods industries. He brings an understanding and experience of the business development process that is combined with the rigor of project management methodologies that deliver results. Most important, LaBaron approaches his work with a dedication that focuses on processes, technology and people.
LaBaron’s hand-on approach has allowed him to transform how organizations attract, attain and retain customers. He believes that the processes that define an organization are crucial to provide a workable solution. He finds value and insight at both the executive and individual contributor levels. Examining processes, he can design, prototype and implement systems that are responsive to immediate needs and are flexible to handle the evolving demands placed on Sales Organizations internally, by the market and by regulatory agencies.
LaBaron treats technology as the tools to support the process. He has spent most of his career working with many commercial off the shelf solutions, such as SAP and Oracle, and custom development to support sales teams through the sales cycle and engage customers. Drawing upon his own roles working in Sales and Product Management, LaBaron understands that no venture is successful without people. He values the input of clients, vendors and technical teams. Through collaboration, he establishes business partner relationships based upon open communication and shared goals. This serves the purpose of creating solutions that move organizations forward.
Prior to his work with Brightside Solutions, LaBaron has held sales, strategy and consulting roles with Capgemini, SAP, Material Sciences Corporation and California Steel Industries.
LaBaron earned his BA in Economics from Occidental College in Los Angeles, CA and his MBA from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN.
